Helix® Micro Rebar™ reinforcement has been used to pour the slab of Australia’s first Top Golf attraction on the Gold Coast in Queensland. The $35 million-dollar facility, due to open mid 2018, is a joint venture development between Village Roadshow and US-based Top Golf on a fifteen-acre site adjacent to Warner Bros. Movie World.
Helix® Micro Rebar™ reinforcement replaced all mesh in the 90mm thick external slab with a dosage of just 9 kg/m3. This removed the need for a concrete pump and saved the builder a massive 59% in steel costs, while also shaving a significant amount of time off the project.
