Wakefield High School is one of three public high schools located in Arlington, Virginia, closely bordering Alexandria. As part of the county’s school board modernization process, Wakefield High School was approved to receive a new facility.

Century Concrete was selected as part of the construction team. By using Helix Steel, Century Concrete was able to replace the wire mesh reinforcement in the Slab on Grade and each respective Slab on Metal Deck. Saving time, reducing carbon footprint and providing for a stronger, three dimensionally reinforced concrete product.
