Recently presented at Shotcrete 2015 in Austria, this document details the use of Twisted Steel Micro Rebar (TSMR) for shotcrete applications. Taken from the introduction of the technical paper, "Steel fibers have been used to reinforce shotcrete, replacing traditional steel wire mesh, for over twenty years. They are added to shotcrete to improve energy absorption, crack resistance and provide ductility."
