The KONE Centre is a mixed-use development that brings class A office models, condominiums, along with a dynamic retail space to downtown Moline’s Riverfront District. This building was designed to be conscious of the environment and reduce the need for excess material. Compared to ASHRAE 90.1, which is the industry standard for commercial buildings, there was a 28 percent reduction in energy used. The building was named the highest-rated LEED-certified building in Illinois by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), announced this week and received LEED Platinum certification under the Core & Shell (CS) rating system after it opened.

Helix® Micro Rebar™ reinforcement was leveraged for the Slab on Grade, Slab on Metal Deck and Topping applications.
