Detroit Diesel Corporation is an American diesel engine manufacturer headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, USA and a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America, itself a wholly owned subsidiary of the German Daimler AG. The company manufactures heavy-duty engines and chassis components for the on-highway and vocational commercial truck markets.
Using Helix Steel, Aristeo Construction fully replaced 2 layers of #4 rebar @ 12″ with a dosage of 15 lb/yd3. This enabled tremendous time savings as this alleviated the need to chair and tie the rebar layers. Below is an image showing the finished floor along with one of the saw joints.
