The upcoming Tilt-Up Convention and Expo 2020 is not only breaking new ground by going completely virtual, but also in one of its exciting online sessions which will highlight performance-based alternative designs in the tilt-up industry.

The popular Convention and Expo will be hosted online October 5–9, 2020 and allow registrants to create their own avatar to walk through the virtual venue. Once there, avatars can tour the expo’s exhibitors, engage with other registrants, and attend live events such as the highly anticipated session Case Study in Performance-Based Alternative Design which will be held on Wednesday, October 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.

The session will be hosted by Luke Pinkerton from Helix Steel, makers of the innovative concrete reinforcement Helix® Micro Rebar™, as well as Len Overbeek, co-founder of Ontario’s leading tilt-up construction business, Tilt Wall Ontario Inc. The online session will introduce performance-based design and code provisions allowable in tilt-up construction, and discuss the recent projects that have chosen Helix® Micro Rebar™.
