Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital is a pediatric hospital located in Grand Rapids, Michigan and a division of Spectrum Health. It is named for Helen DeVos, the wife of Amway founder Richard DeVos, a major donor.

This hospital offers over 40 pediatric specialty services to children in need. It was founded in 1970 and updated in 2011 with a state-of-the-art 14 story building. Part of this process included Helix® Micro Rebar™ reinforcement. Helix® steel reinforcement was able to replace the original design of 1 layer of 6×6 W2.5/ W2.5 mesh in a 4.5” thick section with a Helix® dosage of 8 lb/yd3 in the same 4.5” thick section.
